- Solve for X
- Work with multiple values in a problem
- Solve for X where there are more than one solution

In Super Math World, we offer manipulatives of different values that the student must combine or manipulate to achieve the desired result. This means students must hold multiple values in their head and use deduction to get the desired values.

- Solve for X
- Work with multiple values in a problem
- Solve for X where there are more than one solution

- This lesson will explore basic algabraic thinking.
- If I show you an equation like 2 + 3 = x, what is x?
- If I show you an equation like 2 + x = 7, what is x?
- How many different ways can you combine two numbers to equal 10?
- No previous experience with algebraic thinking is needed.

- If I need a 10 and I already have a -3, what more is needed to make zero?
- Is it possible to use a positive and a negative number to replace a single positive number of a new value? (yes, e.g. 5 + -3 = 2)
- Did you always have the numbers you needed? What did you do to solve a puzzle that needed a number?
- Pick a puzzle you solved. How did you find out what number you needed to solve a puzzle?

- Allow 20-25 minutes minimum play time.
- Sessions can last 90+ minutes. Your kids will not want to stop!
- In-game instructions make the experience easy for students.
- Students may get stuck – partner them so they can discover the solution together.

Super Math World is designed to introduce a new concept with simple interactions, which get more difficult as you progress. The game should totally immerse your learners and open their minds to the underlying mathematical concepts, while motivating them to explore and learn more. A successful play session will leave your students eager to talk about the subject matter, and perhaps even to become math creators themselves using the in-game editor.
